Digital Photography Tips
  • Don't get too crazy with Megapixels - the more pixels the more steady you have to hold the camera, and the more likely you will see blurs in the photos.
  • Consider using a tripod or bracing the camera on something - not just because of the pixels, but for an overall better photo.
  • If buying a digital camera with image stabilization, get optical stabilization not digital - same goes for zoom.
  • Usually brighter light equals better photos - digital photography really benefits from very bright light
  • Try to find an off-center way to "center" your photo - don't always block things in halfs.
  • Look for identifiable landmarks or symbols (items) in the background that can help identify where or when the photo was taken.
